Black Antelope Hunting: Chasing a Beautiful Creature
Blackbuck antelope hunting allows hunters the chance to catch a gorgeous wild animal. The blackbuck is a medium sized antelope whose males can weigh around 38 kilograms and the females around 27 kilograms. While the females and the young males are usually tan, the mature males are black. Their eyes, chin, chest, belly, and inner legs are white.
Originally natives to the countries of India and Pakistan, the blackbuck started to populate Texas in the early 1930s. 80 percent of the blackbucks in Texas can be found in the region of the Edwards Plateau. Blackbuck antelope hunting has been very successful near short to mid grass areas where these animals prefer to graze.
The Internet has become a wonderful place for hunters to find private ranches that are willing to open their doors. Many of these ranches will have their own website where they will describe to you everything that is included in their hunting packages. You can then reserve your days on their ranch very easily with a credit card.
